Adding New Employees

To add new employees you have two options. You can “Add One” at a time and configure them completely or you can “Add Multiple” employees where you just set up the basics.

“Add One”

“Add One” will allow you to add an employee and completely fill out their record with all the options or just the required information. The Employee number and Time Zone are Pre-filled for you. The employee number is the next number in line and the Time Zone is what you setup your Time Clock Settings with. You can change these if you need to.                           

Required information: First Name, Last Name, Email or Username and Password. For the password you can type in a password or double click in the box and it will generate a random password. If you are going to use a Username note that usernames are system wide, if someone else in the system is using that user name you will need to modify it with additional letters, numbers or punctuation.

All the rest of the information is optional.

 

“Add Multiple”

When you click on the Add Multiple button you will be able to put in the basic information for up to 20 employees at one time and send them an invite. The invite will send them their Logon Information and instructions. If you need to add more than 20 employees you can click on the Add Multiple again to add more.

Required information: First Name, Last Name, Email or Username and Password. For the password you can type in a password or double click in the box and it will generate a random password. If you are going to use a Username note that usernames are system wide, if someone else in the system is using that user name you will need to modify it with additional letters, numbers or punctuation.

Optional information: Mobile Number and Employee number. If you do not put in an employee number it will start at one above the last employee number in your list.

With the Add Multiple you will need to edit each employee if you want to setup any of the other options for the employee.
