Overview
The Account Key is used to register your fingerprint reader software to your OnTheClock.com account so it will function.
Setup
Find Account Key
- Step 1: Log in as the administrator.
- Step 2: Click on “Settings ”.
- Step 3: Select “Time Clock Settings”.
- Step 4: The Account Key is listed under “Basic Settings ”.
What to Expect
Once you enter your account key into your fingerprint reader software, you will see all your employees show up to begin adding fingerprints. Click here for more information on the Fingerprint setup.
I have more than one account. Does each account have an account key?
Yes — Each of your accounts will have its unique account key.
Can I use one fingerprint reader for various accounts?
No — You will need a separate device and fingerprint reader for each account.
Can everyone access my account key?
No — only an administrator can access an account key.
