Pay Periods
Overview
With OnTheClock, you can customize your pay period dates. You can choose to have weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, or monthly pay periods. Setting your pay period can retroactively alter time cards — you should archive previous time cards to prevent changes.
- Weekly: Your pay period will start on the same day each week.
- Bi-weekly: Your pay period will begin on the same day of the week every other week.
- Semi-monthly: Your pay period will start on custom dates each month.
- Monthly: Your pay period will begin on the same day each month.
Note: According to the U.S. Department of Labor, your workweek can start on any day of the week.
